Spencer Barnes

Hi everyone! My name is Spencer, and I am a PhD student in mechanical engineering researching high-speed reacting flows. I did my undergraduate at the University of Virginia (go wahoos!) and hope to one day work in the aerospace industry designing high-speed propulsion. Outside of the lab, you can find me doing pretty much anything outside—trail running, climbing, backpacking, whatever!

I’m interested in this course because I have a personal affinity for architecture and think this course will allow me to see if I’m any good at it. I would like to become proficient with Revit and enhance my design thinking by the end of this course.
