Welcome to my research lab! The roof is sloped 30 degrees, ideal for photovoltaics in the northern hemisphere. The south-facing wall features lots of windows and a glass door for natural light and warming. The north-facing has awning windows for even more natural light as well as a cooling effect due to the height of placement. The opening/closing of these almost clerestory awning windows will need to be mechanized. I avoided many windows on the east and west sides to have a good balance of light and heat.
