Maxwell Richardson

Hello everyone!! My name is Max Richardson. This is my first class at Stanford. I’m super excited to be here. I was originally supposed to graduate high school next year but made it out here a bit early to get started, and I couldn’t be more excited!! Unfortunately, I don’t have much industry experience at all (obviously), I learned a bit of Revit a while ago out of complete boredom but never really got deep into it, even though I really enjoyed it. I’ve been around the industry a bit though, as my dad works within a business that distributes and install furniture, electrical, plumbing, flooring… etc. I’m interested in this course because I love architecture and the creativity of it. Although I don’t have a declared major I’m strongly considering Civil Engineering, Sustainable Architecture, and MS&E. Which this also fill many of those learning needs. More than anything though, I’m really passionate about the design and architecture side of real estate and think it’s the industry I’ll want to work in. My goal for this course is to be able to design and construct buildings, focusing more on homes, from the ground up, and of course, getting a good grade. ;) Can’t wait to get rolling with you guys!!
