Description
This project is once again split into multiple buildings, this time using the topography of the site as an organizing principle instead of program. The lower building, which can be accessed from the driveway via a small hallway with stairs, contains storage space, the study, and a large bedroom. The upper building houses the main living space, with a combined kitchen, dining, and living room, as well as two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. Large windows throughout the house enable views and the permeation of natural light through the large rooms.
