Description
This Field Research Building is a 500 SF, one-story building with wooden studs and rafters. The meeting room, workspace, and lab are located on the south side of the building, where there are five openable south-facing windows to have better daylight. The storage room and ADA-compliant bathroom are located on the north side of the building, with fewer windows than the other workspaces. The roof surfaces are designed for mounting photovoltaic panels. The meeting room has a whiteboard and a table with four chairs, which is suitable for private meetings. Researcher’s workspace is next to the lab; thus, researchers in these two spaces can communicate with each other. All doors are designed to be at least 32” wide for ADA compliance.
