Goal 1: Maintain Comfortable Internal Temperature
- Measure: Temperature inside building
- Targets:
- Temperature within the range of 24C and 29C
- Ideally between 26 and 28 C
- Strategies:
- Passive cooling design
- Cross-ventilation & large windows
- Material selection
- Building orientation and shape design
- Roof design
Goal 2: Net-Zero Energy Ready Design
- Measure: Building produces as much energy as it consumes
- Targets:
- Optimize approx building energy use to be about 65% less than original
- Strategies:
- Passivehaus design
- Use of natural lighting
- Incorporation of solar energy

Goal 3: Quick Construction Time
- Measure: How long it takes to put up the shell, core & MEP of the building (everything before finishing, and also excluding substructure)
- Targets:
- 6 months (to be revised and adjusted)
- Strategies:
- Prefabricating wall panels
- Prefabricating MEP
- 4C simulation
On use of natural lighting. These are ht lighting demands:
Hallway (used for art display) lighting needs:
Hallway (passage only) lighting needs: 100 lux
Meeting room: 300 lux
Indoor rehearsal or practice space: 1,100 lux
Tech room: 300 lux
Bathroom: 300 lux
