In a building looking to reduce its carbon footprint, an important feature to have are PV panels. Much like a flower unfurled in spring, the panels harness the sun’s energy and provide for its inhabitants. In a similar vein, the coloring of a building can be impactful on those within. Green and natural colors can make a concrete structure feel less cold and lifeless, like a flower’s beautiful hue. And lastly, Y2E2 for example has self-regulating windows that can open when the outside air is cooler than the inside air. My dog will curl up when trying to conserve warmth or spread out when she is on the toasty side.
