DESIGN IDEA I am planning something futuristic, relying on geometrical figures. I see the transitions from the shapes of planes to the forms of volumes as a fantastic point of inspiration for my project. I want a building that could be appreciated from different points of view without forcing the viewer to stick to a specific spot. Geometrical figures could be a great ally to achieve my goals.
Examples:
Soumaya museum, Mexico City, Mexico.
Restaurant Los Manantiales, Xochimilco, Mexico. The structure consists of a radial arrangement of eight hyperbolic paraboloid segments.
SUSTAINABILITY AND TECHNOLOGY I plan to address the following goals for sustainability: heat-insulation control, acoustic control, sun protection, energy production, through renewable sources, indoor air quality control, passive design strategies, and exploitation of site's resources. This goal entails adopting efficient building materials as an integration of technology to monitor and control functions.
Examples: The moving façade of the art paper museum cast the shadow to the interior spaces and, at the same time achieve continuity between spaces.

The Gemini house uses solar energy. Roland Mösl wrote the house's concept in autumn 1991. The name expresses a design goal: The real estate used should simultaneously serve two purposes: living and generating solar electricity.
