I am inspired by buildings that are immersed in natural environment— almost seamlessly integrated. They don’t stick out like a sore thumb, but enhance the natural landscape.
Lots of greenery inside the building— again, going on the theme of a seamless transition from outside to inside. Vertical gardens, trees, or water features indoors. This not only has a calming effect but also can help with cooling and air purification.
In a similar vein, the use of wood and other natural elements in the building structure itself is also very appealing to me. Also, high ceilings with irregular shapes and lots of light coming through help make the space feel open and airy.
Having many large windows that overlook outdoor scenery, again bringing the outdoors in.
I really enjoy modern or bauhaus architecture with an emphasis on minimalism.
