Goal 1: Reduce the energy use intensity (EUI)
- Measure: EUI Measure
- Targets:
- minimally acceptable value: Reduces energy by 30% (compared to ASHRAE baseline)
- desired / target value: Reduces energy by 50% (compared to Ashrae Baseline)
- Strategies:
- one design strategy that I’d like to explore in my design to achieve this goal is by adjusting for passive daylighting and heating/cooling if needed
- a second design strategy for achieving this goal is by focusing on the window placement and orientation
Goal 2: Reduces need for artificial light
- Measure: Hours of acceptable daylight
- Targets:
- minimally acceptable value: Daylight can be used for at least 12 hours in day for 60% of the days in the year
- desired / target value: Daylight can be used for at least 12 hours in day year round
- Strategies:
- Vast window use that controls for heat gain and the use of skylights
Goal 3: Increase the “green” content
- Measure: The percentage of Sqft of plants
- Targets:
- minimally acceptable value: 15% of the property has green features
- desired / target value: 30% of the property has green features
- Strategies:
- one design strategy that I’d like to explore in my design to achieve this goal is including a green roof, indoor garden, and an outdoor garden
- one design strategy that I’d like to explor
- a second design strategy for achieving this goal @
Goal 3: short description of the goal
- Measure: the metric that you’ll use to measure this goal
- Targets:
- minimally acceptable value
- desired / target value
- Strategies:
- one design strategy that I’d like to explore in my design to achieve this goal
- a second design strategy for achieving this goal @
