I modeled my plumbing system on all three floors of my building. On each floor, I have two restrooms: one for men and one for women. The women’s restrooms have four stalls with toilets and two sinks. The men’s restrooms have two stalls with toilets, two urinals, and two sinks. The plumbing system is shown below.
For the sanitation pipes, I used 4’’ diameter copper pipes, and I sloped the branching pipe 1/4’’/12’’. For the hot and cold water, I used 1’’ diameter copper pipes. For the most part the connecting the fixtures to the pipes was pretty straight forward, and I did not have to manually route any of them.
I faced a lot of challenges with the layout of my building and the locations of the bathrooms which will need to be fixed. First, my men’s and women’s restrooms are not located next to each other, so I slightly changed the layout to make sure the bathrooms are next to each other. Also, the bathrooms were not located directly above one another, so I also had to make adjustments for that.
