Hi! I’m Melanie and I am pursuing a master’s in Sustainable Design and Construction with a focus on structures. I recently finished my undergraduate education at Princeton University where I majored in Civil Engineering and minored in Sustainable Energy and Architecture. In these architecture studios, we extensively used Rhino and Grasshopper. I have worked in the fields of rammed earth architecture, hydropower, infrastructure climate resiliency, and most recently, telecom. While I have some design and modeling experience, I haven’t been exposed to BIM software. I’m really excited to learn and gain a strong foundation in building modeling this quarter!
