Building Features:

  • High-insulation exterior walls
  • Curtain walls in the southern half of the building (solar gain and views)
  • No glazing in the northern half of the building
  • Atrium for natural lighting (also a skylight)
  • Green roof will be added
  • Overhangs on the southern side
  • Patio on the eastern side
  • High-insulation roof
  • More overhangs and light shelves will be added
  • Brise soleil will be added to the patio

Notes

  • Linked Student functionality never works for me, my name doesn’t show up as I start typing
  • This journal entry will be updated
  • I’ve had many issues with my building model and I wasn’t able to run a complete thermal analysis as some functionalities didn’t work (e.g. I wasn’t able to edit curtain walls)
