Discussion/challenges:

I’m in accord with what other classmates have said… I found this exercise to be pretty straightforward. It was great to be able to use auto-routing tools instead of manually routing everything (ahem HVAC), and the instructional videos in this module were crystal clear. It was good practice using the mirror and paste aligning to certain levels tools as well.

I struggled a bit with selecting items for mirroring — since the toilets and sinks are arranged oppositely on the north side bathroom, the mirrored pipes obviously needed to be adjusted a bit — for instance, I extended the hot water pipe so it could reach the sinks on the far end.

The one item I struggled with the most was probably routing the sanitary pipes out of the sinks. I did what Glenn suggested in one of the videos and placed those manually so that there wouldn’t be a pipe coming straight out of the bottom of the sink which might be obstructive. However, when I tried to route those pipes to the main sanitary trunk, the inference lines that tell you when your pipe is directly above another pipe didn’t really show up, and so I had to do some guessing and manipulating in a couple different views to ensure that everything connected smoothly.
