My structural system uses some of the existing walls as structural components. The foyer on Level 0 and the elevator shaft are each structural walls. The foyer probably does not need to be, given there is no floor above it, but it is better than putting columns and frames in there. This configuration of steel beams follows the length requirements for steel beams, and mostly stays out of corridors. At the top of the stairs, however, one of my columns may be in the way for people using the staircase. The bench on the front side of the building also has a column through it on the first and second floor. Other than that, this should be structurally sound and functional.
