Big Design Idea:

Building theme - reducing global carbon footprint and emissions to protect endangered/threatened species and our oceans. Initial idea is to incorporate stunning aesthetic and interactive elements to demonstrate how net-zero sustainability efforts can be implemented in commercial or residential construction.

Additional Ideas:

  • Copious greenery, natural light, and water features
  • Garden/koi pond entrance
  • Coral farm and/or aquarium (dependent on space)

Building/System Features:

  • Green roof
  • Living walls
  • Photovoltaic panels
  • Daylighting
  • Daylight harvesting
  • Rainwater harvesting
  • Water recycling (fresh & salt water)
  • Radiant cooling/heating
