My name is Jiarui Li, a second-year graduate student in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Sustainable Design and Construction Energy track. I hold a bachelor's degree in Material Science and Engineering from UIUC, with minors in Electrical Computer Engineering and Art & Design. I currently own two photovoltaic companies, working on solar power stations and Building-Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV/BAPV), which fuels my interest in CEE. My goal for this course is to deepen my understanding of high-rise building construction, especially as I plan to construct a thirty-floor building in my industrial zone, integrating my learning into this upcoming project for optimal sustainability and design.
Along with my academic and professional pursuits, I'm deeply passionate about the solar industry. If anyone shares this interest or is curious about it, please feel free to connect with me.
