I think that biological organisms and buildings have a lot in common. Here are some analogies I can think of:

Human skeleton vs building lateral system

As our skeleton consists of different bones that hold our body together and provide support and shape, a building consists of multiple beams, columns, slabs, etc. that make a skeleton of the structure.

Skin vs facade of the building

As the skin is the first physical barrier that the human body has against the external environment, the facade of a building provides exterior protection for the building

Circulatory (cardiovascular) system vs HVAC system

As the cardiovascular system transports nutrients, oxygen, and waste throughout the body, the HVAC system maintains good indoor air quality by regulating and circulating airflow, temperature, and humidity.

Respiratory System vs. Ventilation System

As the respiratory system moves fresh air into the body while removing waste gases, the ventilation system circulates fresh air and removes pollutants.

Digestive System vs. Plumbing System

As the digestive system breaks down and digests food into simple nutrients such as carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, the plumbing system distributes water and removes waste from a building.

Nervous system vs electrical wiring

The nervous system transmits signals between the brain and the rest of the body, including internal organs, while electrical wiring connects different systems and devices of the building.
