Module 9 - HVAC Systems
Your Design Journal entries for this module should highlight your design thinking and analysis results that influenced your decisions about:
- your overall HVAC system strategy
- your heating strategy and how you implemented it in your design
- your cooling strategy and how you implemented it
- any special HVAC system challenges that you encountered
The plus signs are air terminals that I implemented to help with cooling and heating. I will also be placing windows throughout the building which will allow for natural heating/cooling. Additionally, i will utilize shade outdoors in the form of trees to provide cooling and thus position the air terminals in a way that best allow for the most energy efficient use of them. Unfortunatley, i was having issues with loading the heating and cooling load report and kept getting the following message:
However, i was still able to divide my building into spaces and zones.
