I'm Candice, a 2nd yr MS student in Sustainable Design & Construction. I was born in France, and raised both in France and in Dubai, UAE. I am now on campus. I did my undergraduate studies in France, studying engineering at CentraleSupélec. No real industry experience since I came to Stanford straight out of undergrad. I am interested about sustainability and energy systems. I have been working with a group of friends on a project related to sustainable buildings and want to develop my building modeling skills, reason why I took this class. I hope that by the end of the course I will be able to model a building, evaluate its performance (especially energy performance), and ensure that it meets building code requirements.
