Location of museum: Pasadena, CA
I decided to go with a spherical building structure and i felt that we could take advantage of the slants on the building for solar panels. This could hopefully allow us to generate energy that could sustain the building itself and allow it to be economically and environmentally sustainable. I choise Pasadena because of its noncloudy atmosphere therefore allowing for more predictable solar energy. Also since Pasadena is my home town I feel like I have a good idea of what the environment there is like.
This is what I envision the building to look like. It will be a multi floor building in which individuals will have the ability to attend different virtual reality spaces and exhibition. The top floor will have many virtual reality rooms for the user to inhabit. While the lower floors will be more large scale virtual reality spaces.
This is the floor schedule, I envision it to be multiple floors with each floor being the same area as the other floors.
