• Measures that can be used to quantify the performance of your design relative to each goal
• Net Site Energy
• Net source Energy
• Net energy emissions
• Net Energy Cost
• Target Values for each of the measures
• As low as I can get them to be depending on the location and available resources. I want to try to reach a net energy emissions of 0
• Strategies that you’d like to explore for achieving these targets
• Take advantage of solar collection systems: heat sinks / solar panels
• Site orientation to soak up the most sunlight energy during the summer months to sell back to the grid and reduce net energy cost during winter months.
• Reduce boiler usage and chiller by utilizing waste air system
• Locally sourced materials + recycled materials + material science
• Not toxic paints
• LED lighting + use of natural light
• Collect rain water
• Use of wind energy/wave energy if located close to shore?
