Luckily, in my architectural building model, I created a space in between both bathrooms for plumbing elements, pipes, and other mechanical equipment. My building model has two bathrooms: one located on the east side of the building where exhibit space is and the other located on the west side of the building where offices are. For my plumbing model, I focused on the east building bathroom. My piping and plumbing systems are shown below. This bathroom is pretty big, so connecting all the pipes was tedious. My biggest challenge was connecting my Cold and Hot water pipes to sinks and toilets. I kept getting the message “Revit could not find a matching Pipe Segment in "Pipe Types: Standard". Please check the routing preferences of "Pipe Types: Standard.” I could not figure out what the problem was, and eventually met with Glenn and figured out that something was wrong with my sinks. Other than this, I feel pretty confident with modeling bathrooms.
