Plumbing system elements

  • I incorporated toilets, sinks and urinals into my bathrooms
  • Greywater was incorporated as the site collects a lot of rain throughout the year
  • Rainwater collection system installed on the two green roofs/interactive exhibits to collect water

Piping systems

  • I included sanitary, domestic hot and domestic cold water supply lines

Plumbing challenges / solutions

  • A challenge was that my bathrooms were not stacked on any of the levels, which caused me to have to redo everything each time
  • Next time in my design, I will think about coordinating plumbing earlier on to avoid this inefficiency
