Module 10 - Plumbing Systems
I decided to use general plumbing systems rather than the greywater system since I don't have extensive plumbing and my climate wouldn't provide rainwater for the majority of the year. I included 2 gender-neutral restrooms in my exhibition space. Each restroom includes one water closet, one urinal and one sink. I also included drains and mop basins, as are found in many public restrooms. Because my climate is so cold I placed all pipes on the interior walls so they do not freeze in the winter. In my HVAC zoning in the last module, I also zoned the restroom area to be kept a few degrees warmer than the surrounding storage room and break room to help keep the pipes from freezing.
