Note: I was unable to provide screenshots as after completing this initially, I am now getting "Access Denied" messages so I cannot open up the Insights on my computer. However, below I will explain in words what the Insights showed and what changes I made to reduce the EUI.
1: I adjusted operating time to 12/5, and set Roof Construction to R38
(this reduced the EUI quite a bit)
2: Wall construction changes provided a decrease in overall EUI
-14 - inch ICF was found to provide the lowest EUI
3: When investigating WWR for each orientation, West and East facing facades had the largest impacts
-Western and Eastern WWR were reduced down to 0-2% for the greatest EUI reduction
-Northern and Southern WWR adjustments had little to no EUI impact
4: Since WWR was so low for West and East orientation, glazing type had little to no affect on EU
-Trp LoE glass option has the lowest EUI when some glazing is used, but in this case, that specification has little to no affect
5: Similarly, since WWR was so low for Eastern and Western walls, shading adjustments has little to no affect on EUI
6: Adjustments in lighting and plug load caused large EUI reductions (the largest so far)
-0.3W/sqft was used for lighting efficiency
-0.6W/sqft was used for plug load efficiency
7: Payback limit adjustments also had large impacts on EUI reductions (the largest of them all)
-I placed this at a 20-30 year packback range to form the lowest EUI
Overall, the most impactful changes were adjustments in lighting and plug loads, as well as payback limits. Wall construction and operating time had relatively large impacts as well. Facade adjustments overall had minimal impacts, except on East and West orientations.
