Building Systems that are similar to biological systems: 1) Draining/water redirection systems such as a roof or rain chains are similar to hair on organisms that slow or stop the flow of fluids. For example, eyelashes and eyebrows prevent sweat from going into our eyes. 2) Filtration systems in buildings are similar to our immune system. (i.e. hairs in nose to prevent unwanted participles being similar to air filters in buildings ventilation system). 3) Circulation such as hallways or stairwells are similar to the circulatory system in organisms (veins, arteries, bloodstream).
