  1. Blood Vessels and Veins - All buildings have hallways or passageways or someway to get from one place to another. In large scale projects these connections can be vertical and horizontal. Such as elevators and stairways. These "veins" travel throughout the structure and help the architectural idea come into play.
  2. Organs - When I design a building I think of the interior spaces as a necessity. This includes all the small details to fill out the space such as a knife and fork on your plate in the dinning room. Adding interior design helps fill out the space so people can enjoy your architectural creation. As the architect, when you go to show your design to clients you want to add as much small detail as possible (depending on the phase of construction). Organs make the body work and come alive, and so do the finish materials, and furniture of a certain room.
  3. Heart - To me the heart can't be defined as one place in a building rather it IS the building itself. The central core comes close to being a heart as it is the place everything comes off as, but when a beautiful architectural creation is built the whole building should flow and have every room flow from the big idea.
