Module 7 - Building Envelope Systems
The building model has prominent glazing on the western side, with an emphasis in providing natural light to the second floor hallway and conference rooms. There are wood louvres in the main exhibition space to add depth and some mild shading to the area.
Current Debates:
- Wall and Roof materials. Not sure if the exterior should be covered in more greenery or left as a simple wall type. If so, will need to add parapets to the roof and add in the green material.
- Considering adding larger windows to large upper floor offices. Interested to see how that would change front facade. Might add other louvres to front to add appeal.
