I believe that a space is great when an individual can get lost in the experience of the space. Some exhibition spaces/museums that I have enjoyed include the SF MoMA, Cantor, Houston Museum of Natural Science, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the National September 11 Memorial and Museum. A clean design and natural direction of circulation for visitors are some features that make the space feel good. I believe well designed exhibition spaces leave a lasting impact on visitors long after they have left. For example, I still think about to this day how moved I was after visiting the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York back in 2017. What makes an exhibition at the top of the list for me, is the emotional impact it had on me, and how much it changed my perspective on a topic or event.
