Description
I began by computing the panels that I would like to alter and setting the color and heights of those selected panels. Initially, I ran the model with these selections focusing on just changing the color to blue. After debugging and perfecting this, I began working to add my own image. I provided options to flip the image horizontally, vertically and both. Initially, the tranposed image option best matched the imported image so that is the default. After that, I compiled information about the brightness of the images, and adjusted the panel heights based on that brightness. I included options to both emboss and deboss the shelter based on brightness, and included an amplification factor to allow the differences to be more or less obvious between panels. I chose an image of the ocean, creating a gradient effect while the heights represent an organic wave.
