Description
In making this model, I went through a few steps. I took my structure from the previous assignment and removed the other elements so that the panels were the main focus. I then made a color map to be applied using an image and the same grid used to create my panels. I then modified that by extracting the brightness of the colors and increased the height of panels using the brightness values.
For the final part I computed the directness to the sun (as shown) and mapped that to the color and the aperture size of the panels. Panels that are more direct to the sun are red, those that are less are green. Panels very direct to the sun also have small or no opening, while those that are not direct have large openings.
For a grading note, I had some trouble upon returning to the files with the Lunchbox situation. When running my code again it would not work, I'm not sure exactly what is going on but if you have any questions about it please let me know.
