Grasshopper Graph

This graph offers user inputs to define the shape of the frame (left and right column heights, column offsets, frame width, gable offset, and gable height). It also allows for the user to decide between maximum frame spacing or number of frames, and choose the spacing width of the roof purlins. It then creates all columns, roof girders, roof purlins, column x-braces, and roof x-braces. There is also a group of nodes to choose the cross-section shape and properties of all the members. Karamba3D nodes set fixed supports at the base nodes and pin the connections at the x-braces. Loads are then applied to the roof members and the model is analyzed. Visualization nodes are then used to see the member forces and displacements.

The structural framing elements are shown above using the Karamba3D visualization tools. The utilization of the members are shown above with the red/blue/white color scheme.
