Hi everyone! My name is Alessandro Kerr (I usually go by Allie) and I am a first year Master’s student in the SDC program. I am originally from Canada, and received my Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Windsor. My past experience consists mostly of smaller-scale projects in the structural, building science, and coastal engineering fields. Prior to completing CEE 220B last semester, I had never used Revit and was not fully aware of the usefulness of the software. However, I was interested in the wide array of applications and the ability to link different disciplines in the same model. With this, I am excited to learn more about Revit including the ways to automate building designs. My goals for this course are to continue developing my Revit skills, and to pair these with the coding skills that will be required to create parametric designs. I am looking forward to meeting and working with you all!
