Hi everyone, I’m Hui Yi (or HY), and I’m currently in the Sustainable Design and Construction (Management) MS program. I did my undergraduate study in Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and worked for a year before enrolling in Stanford.
Previously, I was involved in managing a Common Data Environment for a real estate developer and creating digital workflows for construction processes.
I enjoy programming and my goal in taking this course is to gain a footing in parametric scripting languages and environments. I observed that these tools optimize design and create more design choices, and I would like to pick up this skill.
