Start with an arc, and transformed and scaled the geometry. Created a sine curve with adjustable number of waves and amplitude. The height of the shelter will also be adjustable with the z transform slider.

The adaptive component and the adaptive panels are set in the dynamo script, however, I wasn’t able to figure how to use to make it work.

One other alternative could be use the break points on the original curve (arc) as centers to circles by point, sweep them along the nurb cuve to create the tubes. and then loft surface between the nurb curves and adjust U and V Degrees.

Didn’t submit that solution as it did not include the families as required by the prompt.
