Jeung Lee - Module 2

Below is my pebble point by using the Dynamo. Followings will explain how I explore this design journey.

I made grid by using integer slider and number distribution. Since I used 1 for distribution value, I set the cylinder radius less than 1 for visibility.

For the cylinder part, making PointX and PointY series flatten list was important because if those are connected directly to the coordinates, it is hard to generate proper lists. Then, those lists should be seperated into two points(X,Y).

For the visibility, amplification factor was added, but my cylinder has 0.3 radius, I only set it as 2.

I used (38,20,0) for the pebble point to make my model asymmetry. Also I left two points from the end, to see little bit edge of the other side.

This is a part that the Dynamo cylinders makes visible in the Revit. The shape can be changed by choosing different family types.

Overall, my cylinders overlapped each other to add a sense of smooth. I changed the color to the red to express pulse in the blood vessel. Through this model, I can learn how to use mathematical model into the design. Especially, trigonometric function can generate the regular rhythm in the design. If I use pi function, very unique irregular pattern can be generated, and these irregular pattern might give great amount of inspiration to the designers.
