Module 3 Sodbilig Batjargal

For this project, I envisioned a simple shelter for placement at train platforms and bus stops. A key feature of this shelter is that it allows for the arrival and departure of trains or buses with different destinations on both sides, facilitating passenger boarding and alighting. The symmetrical structure on both sides balances the shelter, eliminating the need for supporting columns.

When programming in Dynamo, I followed these main steps:

  1. I created one line, duplicated it twice, and designed three lines to form the curve.
  2. Importantly, I set the Z-axis of the second line to a number close to zero to prevent it from intersecting with the curve on the opposite side.
  3. I placed division points on the three lines, ensuring that these points would connect with corresponding points on the adjacent lines.
  4. I designed panels centered around these points.
  5. The shelter on one side, created from steps 1-4, was then copied to complete the structure."
