Hi! I’m Chuting Sun. I am a first year structural engineering graduate student. I attended Penn State for undergrad, majoring in civil engineering and minoring in economics.
I have been engaged in scientific research most of the time in the past, and I have used BIM to deal with application issues of sustainable development of structures. I interned at a civil engineering company in South Carolina during the summer.
I have learned Dynamo before and found it interesting, and I think BIM modeling is a big trend. Therefore, I want to learn more tools and techniques of computational design and parametric modeling. I hope that through this class I can learn more software, such as Rhino and DesignScript. At the same time, I want to learn to build a parametric modeling platform and create a language environment to deal with practical problems.
