I’m a senior/coterm in Computer Science on the Visual Computing track. I really enjoy the animation and simulation side of my track and creating pretty 3D visuals. I have no relevant industry experience for this class, but I’m excited to learn!
While I’ve done 3D modeling for my major, I don’t have a lot of parametric design experience, and I’ve always wanted to learn some of the softwares used in this class because one of my favorite 3D printing designers would use them to create really beautiful designs. I hope to pick up more modeling skills and eventually be able to emulate what that designer creates in a model of my own.
