I am a second year Master’s student in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus in Biomechanical Engineering. I am interested in how movement in the body works, and also like to try my hand at product design. I’m from the Los Angeles area, but my family actually now lives near Tahoe so I tend to spend some vacations there. I am also very into sports — specifically basketball and beach volleyball as we get closer to sunny days!
I have assisted in research for rehabilitation engineering, using CAD to model things like customized soles for diabetic patients. I am interested in this course to learn more relevant modeling software for roles in industry as I begin to apply for full time positions in Mechanical Engineering.
