Hi all! I am Vaishnavi. I am a first-year MS student at SDC program pursuing Energy Concentration. I have just finished my Bachelors in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay in May 2023 before coming to Stanford. I grew up in Telangana and moved to Mumbai for college.
I have been a part of a Net-Zero Housing team at IIT Bombay. I was one of the leads of the team that won the first runner-up position at the US Solar Decathlon Build Challenge 2023. While I was in the team, I majorly worked on material selection and LCA. But I was fascinated by all the other parts of the work like BIM, HVAC design. So here I am, to learn more about BIM, and getting into scripting for parametric design. I am so excited for the class!
