Brief Analysis of the Product
- The whiteboard is made of plastic and metal and the markers are made of plastic and felt tips with different color ink
- I use the mini whiteboard to make to-do lists to keep myself organized and I keep it on my desk to always remind me what I need to do
- The whiteboard is magnetic and so are the pens so everything stays in one place making everything super organized
Key Features that Promote Sustainability
- The whiteboard can be erased and used over and over to write lists and make notes, therefore paper is not being used
- I am now buying pencil lead because I am not writing with a pencil and paper (the whiteboard markers last a reasonable amount of time)
- Keeping a to-do list on my desk keeps me organized and reduces stress
Features that Reduce Sustainability
- The markers don't dry out for quite awhile but when they do, I have to buy new ones
- When I buy new markers I throw away the old ones, which are made of plastic and end up in the landfill
- As more people want to buy more markers, fossil fuel is used to manufacture those products which increases carbon emission, ultimately contributing to climate change
