Who Did You Interview?

  • One of my male dormmates

Demographics That Might Provide Helpful Context for Their Responses

  • Male Korean undergraduate students
  • Majoring in computer science
  • Does not cook much

Key Findings from the Interview

  • He wants more variety of foods in school cafeterias, such as glutinous rice and beef. He thinks it disproportionately emphasizes certain foods, such as bread in the morning.
  • He does not mind the tastes of dishes, thinking they are appropriate, but does not like the textures of some dishes. He, for instance, feels fried potatoes are excessively soft.
  • He seems to value more on the types of foods more than their tastes. It looks like he is satisfied with the current taste.
