- Mini-Proposal:
- Describe what you want to design and the context (who, where, when, why & how). Include (a) a sentence about your team’s personal connection to this context, (b) the sustainability element, and (c) a project code-name. <100 words.
- Work Plan:
- Project Management Practice - Make a table of action items, deliverables, start & completion dates, & who will have primary responsibility for driving & delivering. The header action items should include each of the design thinking components in our process; list specific tasks as sub-items.
Example:
We love playing games. And we are committed to sustainability lifestyles. Our team will design a sustainability gamification teaching & research laboratory in XYZ at Stanford University for students interested in learning & developing product designs that emphasize UX-motivated playability in sustainability human-behavior & human-mindset change. Our team is interested in applying positive psychology with AI machine learning & personal sensor technologies to design frameworks & solutions for clinical & real-world applications in education, healthcare & community well-being, among others. This is PROJECT PINBALL WIZARD.

Mini Proposal (<100 Words)
High school pickup areas are frequently clogged with traffic going both ways. After school hours between 3 and 4 are packed with students rushing to get to their next schedule. The traffic spike during pickup times leads to idling cars which lead to increased carbon emissions and the blocking of roadways used for everyday transportation. By redesigning the traffic direction and roadways, as well as incentivizing the use of public transportation, we can effectively create a smoother running system. It’ll be the Roundabout Revolution. As current high school students, we have faced such a dilemma countless times in the past.
