Prototyping Plan
To create a solution for user comfortability in the library, I decided to prototype different option of chairs to place in the library.
MVP:
- Visually helps users find a chair easily
- should peak interest and comfortability in the user
- helps users focus on task
The function would have to be comfortability, with the MVP+ being that it accommodates to a diverse range of people with adjustability and accessibility to a range of chairs in the room.
Form:
- wobble chair stool
- on the ground foldable chair
- adjustable height chair
- kneeling chair
- standard wooden chair
- beanbag chair
Emotional Feature:
- comfort will prompt satisfaction and happiness
- appreciated for the effort put into ones comfort
Goal for Prototype:
What are the options that best suit the needs of the variety of people in the library
Activity→ Needs
Sleeping→ beanbag, couch, head lay on table, leanable long armrest
Laptop→ cushioned, adjustable height, back support
Big project with materials→ Open space, standing
Reading→ lounge back, armrest,
Should reuse wood from the wooden chairs in library as parts of the new chairs.
