Part B - Preliminary Problem Statement

Preliminary Problem statement: Children, their caregivers and others on campus were uncomfortable and inconvenienced because the fountain area outside green library is not entertaining enough for the children leading them to disturb walking paths towards the library. This space, while attracting many children, presents an opportunity to educate them about sustainable water practices through interactive and engaging elements that also will help keep them entertained by the fountain for longer.

Edited problem statement: People who walk around campus are inconvenienced by children that are bored and disrupt walking paths, creating traffic.

From class: Happy hanna needs to be more entertained because she does not like to be sad and she wants to play with her friends. Happy hanna also needs to cool off after a long day of her at classes. Happy hanna needs music and needs a good drink of water.
