Image of My Model

Description

To make this model, I broke it into a few separate parts. First, I created three curves in space from which I created a surface. To make these curves, and the resulting surface, more interesting I used the sin function. From this surface, I created points that I used to place panels and ribs/supports. Then I added columns to connect the structure to the ground.

There are many different design aspects that can be manipulated through Dynamo. The major dimensions of the structure of course, in addition to the number of panels and supports. The opening in the panels can also be manipulated. They are set on a pattern so that alternating panels have different opening dimensions, and these dimensions can be manipulated. Given more time I would have loved to try to get the supports conforming more closely to the panels and to make the columns blend more smoothly into the supports.
