    1. Starting Top Height (set to 500 ft for this assignment)
    2. Ending Top Height (set to 750 ft for this assignment)
    3. Step (set to 50 ft for this assignment)
  2. Set up Range of Alternatives
  3. Custom Node to Take in Multiple Output Parameters
  4. Map the Custom Node Function to Alternatives list to test each case
  5. Export Results to excel

Note, with the certain parameters locked, only tower heights between 500 and 600 yield a gross floor area within the constraints.

Part 2 (New Building Form) - Twisting Martini

I decided to create a simple outline of a martini glass to then import into the twisting tower form template. Within the twisting template, I passed on the the following parameters:

  • Bowl Width as the Width (base, mid, and top)
  • Bowl Height as the Length (base, mid, and top)
  • For this assignment, I kept the stem length and width constant.

    1. Compute the Ratio of Output 1 and Output 2 (if needed)
    2. Find the Min/Max and identify the test case for min/max
