- You've been researching, observing, and interviewing... it's time to summarize your insights from all that work and define the problem or need you'll use as the basis for your proposed design idea.
- Please craft a single Point Of View statement that clearly describes [Who] needs [What] for [Why]
- What need are you trying to address?
Potential Point of View Statements being considered
The Farm staff needs additional logistical/financial support because there is currently more interest/ideas for programming than they can currently capture.
The Farm staff needs Stanford departments/organizations (i.e., RDE, Doerr) to communicate more effectively because “the right hand is not talking to the left” and there are opportunities for collaboration/redundancies in planning being wasted.
Stanford students need the farm to be brought to them because they are lazy or don’t know about the farm but would enjoy interaction with it.
[USER] needs to [USER'S NEED] because [SURPRISING INSIGHT]
The Farm + Stanford students need supported opportunities to connect across campus because there is a desire to engage, but a lack of capacity from the Farm to organize events and from students to make their way across campus regularly.
